- Payment methods: PayPal and credit cards – no cash, checks, money orders or other forms of payment is accepted.
- Shipping costs: $11.95 flat rate for any size order. All orders are packaged securely, insured and shipped through the United States Postal Service.
- Items are shipped to the continental United States only.
- Orders normally ship within 48 hours.
- All sales are final – no returns accepted.
- All comics and magazines are carefully packaged in certified archival-quality bags and boards. None have been CGC "slabbed", so you can actually read them!
- Cover images are scanned at 300 dpi. Click on the image for a larger view.

HOW TO ORDER
- After choosing the item(s) you want, send a request for purchase using the contact form on the sidebar of the main page. You will receive an email reply (normally within 24 hrs.) with an attached invoice with an order confirmation. Make your payment to PayPal or use a credit card. DO NOT make a payment until you receive an invoice.
- After your payment is verified, you will receive an email confirmation. Your order will then be packaged and shipped, usually within 48 hours.
- If your payment is not received and verified within 24 hrs. from the date of the invoice, your order will be cancelled.
- Orders are filled on a first come-first served basis. If an item is out of stock or no longer unavailable you will be notified via email.
NOTE: The seller has the right to cancel an order any time before a payment is verified.
About Manga
It was reported that in 2018 manga outsold American graphic novels for the first time. In 2021 the four largest comic publishers were located in Japan. Manga, including those published in English, are typically read in the traditional style of left to right. Manga horror are characterized by excessively graphic and violent images, bizarre and outré stories and mature themes. Some of the more popular creators are Junji Ito, Hideshi Hino and Rei Mikamoto, all represented here. The most successful titles are produced as live feature films and anime, or animated cartoons, another highly-successful market. With the release in 1998 of the film Ringu (The Ring) with English subtitles, Japanese horror films became hugely popular with American audiences and manga was the next format to catch on in a big way.
Unlike other comics discussed on this site, manga originated in Japan and were just within the last decade-and-a-half translated into English for the mass market. However, it is important to acknowledge the far-reaching influence of the American horror comic in Japanese culture. For that reason, I am offering a selection of manga horror here so that interested readers can experience the unique presentation of what I consider to be the Japanese version of the American horror comic book. These need to be read to be believed!
NOTE: All titles are out-of-print and have become very collectible (and expensive!). Most are 200+ pages in length. All issues are in Like New Condition unless o/w indicated.
